SALARY: $58,500

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
BrightLine is seeking a highly motivated Designer with a passion for brand advertising, marketing, and digital brand experiences. As a Designer with BrightLine, you will lead the creation of streaming interactive ad campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and top brands in every vertical. BrightLine's ads can be found on all major OTT streaming platforms, including: Hulu, Discovery, NBC, and Samsung to name a few. Ability to effortlessly switch between brand aesthetics in a fast-paced environment will be critical to success in this role. This role entails day-to-day collaboration with fellow designers, sales associates, and front-end product engineers – all with the express goal of creating exceptional enhanced ad experiences on TV/OTT.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design interactive ad campaigns for top advertisers

  • Own and manage design process through the full campaign lifecycle

  • Assist Creative Director and Associate Creative director with marketing initiatives, including presentations, one-sheets, emails and social media posts

  • Support sales initiatives by providing designs, presentations, and creative concepts

  • Work with a dynamic, remote cross-functional team on new business development and live campaigns 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years experience as a designer within a marketing or creative agency

  • Ability to adapt and design with different brand aesthetics/guidelines across categories

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator, InDesign a plus

  • Clean design aesthetic, good use of typography 

  • Self-starter who is highly motivated and able to proactively manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to prioritize deadlines and self-manage use of time

  • Problem solving skills - creative work arounds for product nuances and limitations

  • Organized, process driven, works well independently as well as with a team

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to understand wireframes and user flows

  • Portfolio (URL or PDF required)

  • Interested in streaming TV technology

  • Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint

  • English speaking

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS

  • Cross-design experience: UI/UX, Experience Design, Product Design

  • Working knowledge of UX software: Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, etc. 

  • Knowledge and understanding of design systems theory and practice

  • Copywriting skills

  • Agency experience
