Account Manager

LOCATION: US-based | Remote work, EST business hours | Quarterly travel to NYC

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

BrightLine is seeking highly motivated account managers who are passionate about developing trusted client relationships and managing campaigns through from kick-off to final report in the rapidly evolving CTV / OTT space. As an Account Manager with BrightLine you will facilitate and manage campaigns for top brands in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are an absolute must. This role entails day-to-day communication with agencies and partners as well as collaboration with internal design managers, sales associates, technical ad operations managers, research & analytics leads, and product engineers – all with the express goal of creating exceptional enhanced ad experiences on TV, featuring interactivity, dynamic content, etc. Candidates who excel in the role in time will see upward growth opportunities in the areas of management, partner relations, reporting and analytics, etc. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:  

  • Lead and manage OTT ad campaigns, acting as the primary contact for existing clients – understand clients’ goals, provide appropriate recommendations, develop and communicate timelines, set expectations, manage to deadlines, coordinate asset receipt and creative reviews.  

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding for the OTT space, BrightLine’s ad formats, and BrightLine’s internal processes, to provide a seamless client experience and problem solve in a fast-paced environment, working independently and escalating as necessary. 

  • Apply existing process and best practices for kicking off, managing, and optimizing CTV campaigns, identifying methods for further process refinement. 

  • Coordinate across all internal teams – creative, engineering, adops, analytics, sales – to ensure timelines are met. 

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and recommend campaign optimizations to achieve best possible results. 

  • Grow revenue by delivering outstanding customer service and partnering with account executive to identify opportunities for campaign scale and renewal. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 1-3 years of experience working in Account Management or similar function 

  • Fast learner with an eagerness to excel in the role 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to speak confidently to new people externally, to collaborate well with internal teams, and to embrace feedback 

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and follow-through skills  

  • Self-starter who is highly motivated, able to proactively manage multiple tasks, eager to demonstrate ownership of accounts 

  • Passion for cultivating client relationships and delivering best in class service and performance, with a track record of customer retention  

    • Ability to identify innovative, effective solutions to meet brand objectives. 

    • Ability to anticipate and proactively solve for potential issues, identifying when to escalate and following through to troubleshoot and resolve 

  • Interest in OTT advertising and desire to become an expert in the space 

  • Basic analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance against benchmarks, draw valuable insights, and identify recommended actions 

  • Strong self-discipline to manage time effectively in a remote setting 

  • Ability to deliver in a time-sensitive environment 

  • Basic knowledge of the OTT media landscape preferred 

  • Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint; Willingness to learn the basics of other programs such as PowerBI, SSRS, Boostr, Monday.com, etc. 

  • English speaking 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
